Chapter 21.42 — COUNTRY CLUB OPEN SPACE ZONE STANDARDS

§ 21.42.010. General.

This Chapter contains the regulations for the Country Club Open Space Zone established by the City. (Ord. 387 § 1, 1996)

§ 21.42.020. Purpose.

The purpose of this zone is to recognize and reinforce those deed restricted hillside open space lands adjacent to the various country clubs within the City. The intent of the City evidenced by the application of this zone is to ensure the designated properties remain in a natural hillside open space State in perpetuity.

§ 21.42.030. Permitted uses.

  • (a) Property maintenance as necessary to maintain subject property in a safe and natural condition.

  • (b) No use nor improvement, other than (1) above, shall be permitted, unless:

    • (1) The owner as applicant or co-applicant submits conclusive evidence, acceptable to the City Attorney, that the deed restrictions permit the proposed use or improvement, and

    • (2) The proposed use or improvement is approved by the City Council in accordance with Section 21.06.040 , Conditional Use Permit.
