Hemet Municipal Code Div. 14 International Property Maintenance Code

There is hereby adopted by the city council for the purpose of prescribing minimum standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property and public welfare by regulating and controlling the use and occupancy, location and maintenance of all residential buildings and structures within this jurisdiction; that certain code known as the International Property Maintenance Code being particularly the 2021 edition, as adopted by reference, and the whole thereof save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended by this division of which code at least one copy is now on file in the office of the clerk of the city and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date of which this division shall take effect, the provision thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the city.
