12.16.010 - Regulations generally.¶
The following regulations set forth in this chapter shall be given the use of City owned facilities by the general public.

12.16.020 - Building use permit.¶
Facilities including the Lee Ware Activities Building, the Community Center Building and the City Hall may be used by individuals or organizations provided said individual or organization obtains a permit from the City Council for said use and submits an application in a form to be determined by the City Administrator for this purpose.

12.16.030 - Permission denied.¶
Permission to use these facilities may be denied to any individual or organization at the sole discretion of the City Council.

12.16.040 - Fees—Group description.¶
A. Group A consists of the following:
Parks and Recreation Department sponsored activities or co-sponsored activities;
Government organizations and agencies;
Recreation program where no charges are made to those attending (noncommercial youth groups), e.g.:
a. Youth organizations, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, little leagues, etc.,
b. Youth serving organizations, i.e., P.T.A.,
c. Church youth groups (residency required).
B. Group B consists of the following:
- Hawaiian Gardens resident nonsponsored private groups, e.g.:
a. Family groups using facilities for their own group dinners, meetings, or recreational purposes;
- Organizations using facilities for their own members' benefit (no money raised and/or no money raised over the amount necessary to put on the activity), e.g.:
a. Service clubs,
b. Churches,
c. Fraternal organizations,
d. Community concerts.
C. Group C consists of the following:
Private nonresident groups, groups using facilities for their own members' benefit where no money is raised and/or no money is raised over the amount necessary to put on the function (noncommercial groups);
Private nonresident family groups using facilities for their own group's benefit for dinners, meetings, or recreational purposes.
D. Group D consists of the following:
Commercial groups. Groups or organizations using facilities solely for the purpose of benefiting their own organization, company or corporation;
Nonresident groups or organizations where money is being raised and/or items are on display by a commercial company or business.
