Sec. 2.28.010. - General municipal election.¶
Pursuant to Elections Code §§ 1301(b), 1000 and 10403.5, beginning in November of 2014, and in every even-numbered year thereafter, the town general municipal election shall be consolidated with the statewide general election held on the second Tuesday following the first Monday in November.

Sec. 2.28.020. - Expiration of terms of town officers.¶
In accordance with the provisions of Government Code § 36503.5(d), those town officers whose terms of office would have expired prior to the adoption of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived shall instead continue in their offices until the next regularly scheduled town council meeting after receipt of the certification of the results from the county elections official following the statewide election.
