Article II — INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE

Editor's note— Ord. No. 1907, § 9, adopted Oct. 25, 2022, amended Art. II in its entirety, in effect repealing and reenacting said Art. II to read as set out herein. The former Art. II, §§ 5-36 and 5-37, pertained to the Uniform Administrative Code and derived from Ord. No. 1681, § 9, adopted Dec. 10, 2013; Ord. No. 1756, § 9, adopted Jan. 10, 2017; and Ord. No. 1820, § 9, adopted Dec. 10, 2019.

The 2025 Edition of the International Property Maintenance Code, published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted and reference is hereby made to the copy now on file in the clerk's office of the city.

(a)

Section 303.2 of the 2024 International Property Maintenance Code is hereby amended by rewriting the section in its entirety to read as follows:

Section 303.2 Enclosures must comply with Section 115923 of Appendix CI of the 2024 California Residential Code as amended by the City of Fontana.

(b)

Section 304.3 of the 2024 International Property Maintenance Code is hereby amended by rewriting the section in its entirety to read as follows:

Section 303.2 Site Address. New and existing buildings, apartment units, condominium units, suites, and similar other units or spaces shall be provided with approved address numbers or letters per Section 5-239 of the Fontana Municipal Code.
