§ 7-11.1. Pedestrian Crossing Prohibited.

a. No pedestrian shall cross State Highway 33 within the corporate limits of the City of Firebaugh at other than crosswalks distinctly indicated for pedestrian crossing by lines or other markings on the surface of the highway.

b. The director of public works and the chief of police are hereby authorized and directed to take all action and to give all notice as may be required, including the posting of appropriate signs, to further the purposes of this section.

c. Any person who shall violate the provisions of this section shall be guilty of an infraction pursuant to the provisions of section 36900 of the California Government Code.
