§ 5-1. DEFINITION.

As used in this chapter:

BICYCLE

Shall mean a two wheeled vehicle which has a wheel 14 or more inches in diameter, and is propelled wholly or in part by muscular power. Regulations and licensing requirements contained herein shall apply also to a three wheeled vehicle, propelled wholly or in part by muscular power, which has a wheel 14 inches or more in diameter, but shall exclude a child's tricycle, not reasonably capable of being ridden by an adult person of average size and weight.

§ 5-4. VIOLATIONS.

Every person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be liable to the penalty established in Chapter 1, section 1-5.
