2.16.010 - City clerk—Bonds required.

The city clerk shall be required to give a bond to the city for the faithful performance of his duties in the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00).

2.16.020 - City treasurer—Bond required.

The city treasurer shall give a bond to the city for the faithful performance of his duties as such city treasurer in the sum of two thousand dollars.

2.16.030 - City treasurer—Powers and duties.

It shall be the duty of the city treasurer to receive and safely keep all money which shall come into his hands as treasurer. He shall pay out such money as is ordered by the city council, and not otherwise. He shall keep a full and accurate account of all money received and paid out, and shall make a report of the same to the city council at such times as they desire.
