3.40.010 - Created—Use.

There is established in the treasury of this city a capital improvement fund for sanitary sewage purposes. Moneys from this fund shall be allocated and expended only for the acquisition, construction or reconstruction of major outfall lines and improvements to the sanitary sewage disposal system and to repay principal and interest on bonds, if any, issued for the acquisition, construction or reconstruction for the sanitary sewer collection and disposal system. Moneys from this fund shall not be used for the acquisition, construction or reconstruction of local street sewers or laterals, nor for items of maintenance and operation of the sewage collection or disposal system.

3.40.020 - Source of moneys—Transfers.

All moneys received from sanitary sewer connection fees and sanitary sewer offsite charges shall be paid into the fund. The council may also transfer moneys received from sewer service charges to the fund in such sums as it sees fit.
