Delano Municipal Code Ch. 14.03 California Building Standards Code

Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR), also referred to as the California Building Standards Code, is hereby adopted by reference and incorporated as though fully set forth in this chapter. The California Building Standards Code includes, but is not limited to, the following codes:

A. California Administrative Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 1 of the CCR;

B. California Building Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 2 of the CCR;

C. California Residential Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 2.5 of the CCR;

D. California Electrical Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 3 of the CCR;

E. California Mechanical Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 4 of the CCR;

F. California Plumbing Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 5 of the CCR;

G. California Energy Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 6 of the CCR;

H. California Historical Building Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 8 of the CCR;

I. California Existing Building Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 10 of the CCR.

J. California Green Building Standards Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 11 of the CCR;

K. California Referenced Standards Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 12 of the CCR;

The California Fire Code, 2025 Edition, as published in Title 24, Part 9 of the California Code of Regulations, is adopted herein by reference, as amended and modified by Chapter 17.32, adopted under Ordinance No. G-9359, of the Code of Ordinance of the County of Kern, also known as the "Kern County Fire Code," as if set forth fully in Title 14 of the Delano Municipal Code.

The 2024 International Property Maintenance Code is also adopted herein by reference and made a part of this Code.
