6.48.010 - Adoption of LRA Fire Hazard Severity Zones Map.¶
The City of Colton LRA Fire Hazard Severity Zones map (CALFIRE March 24, 2025) is hereby adopted by the City for the purpose of identifying areas within the Fire Hazard Severity Zones and for enforcement of the provisions of Title 24 California Code of Regulations, California Building Code, Part 2, Chapter 7A, in all Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones.

6.48.020 - Fire Chief Authority; Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones.¶
The City Council hereby delegates authority to the City's Fire Chief to designate future Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones in the City, pursuant to Government Code section 51175 et seq. and recommendations from CALFIRE.
