The most current version of the "Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction," prepared and promulgated by the Southern California Chapters of the American Public Works Association and the Associated General Contractors of California, are adopted and applicable to all Public Works Construction undertaken after the effective date of the Ordinance codified in this chapter.

It is unlawful for any Person, firm, or corporation to erect, install, alter, repair, remove, convert, demolish, or construct any public works Improvements in the City or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in Violation of any of the provisions of these standard specifications. Any Person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Code is guilty of a misdemeanor, and each such Person is guilty of a separate offense for each and every Day or portion thereof during which any Violation of any of the provisions of this Code is committed, continued, or Permitted, and upon conviction of any such Violation, such Person Shall be punishable by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars, or by imprisonment of not more than ninety Days, or by both such fine and imprisonment."
