Citrus Heights Municipal Code Div. 3 Capital Outlay Fund

There is hereby created a fund known as the capital outlay construction fund, in accordance with Government Code §§ 53730.5—53737.

The capital outlay construction fund shall be an accumulation of moneys for future expenditures for capital outlays.

Funds for the capital outlay fund may be raised as part of the tax levy for the general fund appropriation for city construction, in such amounts as the city council may approve from year to year. The amounts so raised shall be transferred from the city construction fund to the capital outlay fund.

The city council may transfer to the capital outlay fund any unencumbered surplus funds remaining on hand at the end of any fiscal year.

The capital outlay fund shall remain inviolate for the making of capital outlays, including site acquisition, site development, architectural services, inspection services, engineering services, construction, reconstruction and alterations, and no moneys shall be disbursed therefrom except for such purposes.
