2.16.010 - City manager.

The city manager, before entering upon the duties of that office, shall execute to the city a good and sufficient bond in the penal sum of fifty thousand dollars, which shall be conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of such office. The bond shall be filed with the clerk.

2.16.020 - City clerk.

The city clerk, before entering upon the duties of that office, shall execute a bond to the city in the penal sum of two thousand dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of that office, and for the faithful performance of such other duties as are now or may hereafter be made upon the incumbent thereof.

2.16.030 - Treasurer.

The city treasurer, before entering upon the duties of that office, shall execute to the city a bond in the penal sum of fifteen thousand dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties thereof, and shall post such additional bond or bonds as may be required in connection with additional prescribed duties.

2.16.040 - Additional bonds authorized.

The council may provide for such additional bond or bonds in such amounts and covering such employees as the council may from time to time deem necessary.

2.16.050 - Filing—Council approval.

All the bonds provided for in this chapter shall be approved by the city council and shall be filed with the city clerk.
