9.07.010 - Temporary storage—Solid waste—Recyclables—Construction.

Each owner of a lot, or person in possession of a lot, who is engaged in or who causes any construction or reconstruction activity on such lot located within the city, shall provide:

A. Containers for the temporary accumulation and storage of solid waste and recyclable material at each such location; and

B. For the collection of solid waste and recyclable materials in accordance with the provisions of this code; and

C. To the extent possible, for the separation of the following materials from the waste stream at the construction site for recovery and/or recycling and/or reuse: asphalt; concrete; wood, brush, and lumber; dirt, earth, gravel, and rocks; masonry; metal; and cardboard.

9.07.020 - Construction cleanup activities.

Each person who is employed or engaged for the purpose of providing construction or reconstruction debris cleanup services on any lot located within the city shall:

A. Provide for the collection of solid waste and recyclable materials in accordance with the provisions of this code; and/or

B. To the extent possible, separate the following materials from the waste stream at the construction site for recovery and/or recycling and/or reuse: asphalt; concrete; wood, brush, and lumber; dirt, earth, gravel, and rocks; masonry; metal; and cardboard.
