EMERGENCY SIGNALING DEVICES

[California Code of Regulations, Title 19, Division 1, §1045-1046]

Article 19. Emergency Signaling Devices

§1045. Fire Hazard. Whenever the authority having jurisdic- tion declares that the use of an emergency signaling device would create a fire hazard, no emergency signaling device shall be used regardless of its indicated registration and labeling. This prohibition shall continue as long as the fire hazard condition exists in the specific area, as determined by the authority having jurisdiction.

§1046. License Required. Manufacturers of emergency sig- naling devices whose manufacturing operations take place in California must possess a valid fireworks manufacturing license from the State Fire Marshal to manufacture emer- gency signaling devices.
