BB102.1 For the purpose of Appendix III-A, certain terms¶

are defined as follows: FIRE AREA. The floor area, in square feet, used to deter- mine the required fire flow. FIRE FLOW. The flow rate of a water supply, measured at 20 psi (137.9 kPa) residual pressure, that is available for firefighting.
