10.08.010 - City council's authority to designate no parking area.¶
The city council may by resolution declare that parking upon any street or highway within its jurisdiction be closed to vehicular parking on one or both sides of the designated street or streets.

10.08.020 - Sign posting and enforcement authority.¶
The city may cause temporary no-parking signs to be posted, and empower the city police department to enforce such restrictions pursuant to Sections 22500 and 22507 of the California Vehicle Code.

10.08.030 - Sign construction.¶
The temporary no-parking signs shall be of distinctive color, bearing the words "temporary no-parking zone," and shall be placed not less than fifty feet apart within the affected area, and shall be displayed on a sign ___ inches by ___ inches, and shall be not less than twenty-four inches above the ground.

10.08.040 - Violation deemed infraction.¶
Violations of this chapter shall constitute an infraction punishable by a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more than one hundred fifty dollars.

10.08.050 - Violation—Towing of vehicles.¶
Vehicles in violation of this chapter may be towed at the owner's expense.
