5-6-101: INTERFERENCE WITH POLICE, FIRE, AND OTHER CITY COMMUNICATIONS:¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to install, operate, or maintain any electrical or mechanical machine or device so as to interrupt, interfere with, or prevent the continuous operation of any shortwave length transmitter or receiver used by the police, fire, or other city departments. (1962 Code § 4-13.03)
5-6-102: DUTY OF PERSONS TO PREVENT INTERFERENCE WITH POLICE, FIRE COMMUNICATIONS:¶
It shall be the duty of every person installing, operating, or maintaining any electrical or mechanical machine or device which might interrupt, interfere with, or prevent the clear and satisfactory operation of any police or fire shortwave length radio transmitter or receiver to shield all such machines and devices and the places where they are installed, operated, or maintained so as to prevent such interruption or interference. (1962 Code § 4-13.04)
5-6-103: INTERFERENCE WITH POLICE ANIMALS:¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully tease, torment, agitate, provoke, beat, kick, injure, maim, disable, kill, or in any way interfere with any dog, horse, or other animal used in a police function by law enforcement officers. (1962 Code § 5-1.109)
5-6-104: FALSE REPORTS TO THE CITY:¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully make to the city, or to any officer or department thereof, any false, misleading, or unfounded report, either verbal, written, or by mechanical signaling device or otherwise, for the purpose of obstructing, misleading, interfering with, obtaining service from, obtaining a preference with, or otherwise influencing the city, or any officer or department thereof, to do or not to do any act or to expend any materials, labor, or money. (1962 Code § 4-4.01)
