Chapter 10.64 — SPEED LIMITS

Sec. 10.64.010. - Mountain View Street.

It is determined and declared that the prima facie speed limits as hereinafter set forth are found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic, are reasonable and safe on the sections of Mountain View Street hereinafter described:

(1)

30 miles per hour between Avenue A and Barstow Road.

(2)

25 miles per hour between Barstow Road and Helen Runyon Drive/Seventh Avenue.

(3)

35 miles per hour between Helen Runyon Drive/Seventh Avenue and East Main Street.

Sec. 10.64.020. - Armory Road.

It is determined and declared that the prima facie speed limits as hereinafter set forth are found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic, are reasonable and safe on the sections of Armory Road hereinafter described:

(1)

45 miles per hour between Barstow Road and Muriel Drive.

(2)

40 miles per hour between Muriel Drive and Higgins Road.

(3)

25 miles per hour between Higgins Road and Montara Road.

Sec. 10.64.030. - Main Street.

It is determined and declared that the prima facie speed limits as hereinafter set forth are found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic, are reasonable and safe on the sections of Main Street hereinafter described:

45 miles per hour between West City Limits and Laverne Avenue.

(2)

45 miles per hour between Laverne Avenue and Avenue H.

(3)

40 miles per hour between Avenue H and Otis Avenue.

(4)

35 miles per hour between Otis Avenue and First Avenue.

(5)

25 miles per hour between First Avenue and Barstow Road.

(6)

35 miles per hour between Barstow Road and Muriel Drive.

40 miles per hour between Muriel Drive and Coolwater Lane.

(2)

35 miles per hour between Armory Road and Virginia Way.

25 miles per hour between Virginia Way and Mountain View Street.

(2)

50 miles per hour between Irwin Road and Old Highway 58.

Sec. 10.64.100. - Broadway Avenue.

It is determined that the prima facie speed limits as hereinafter set forth are found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and are reasonable and safe on the sections of Broadway Avenue hereinafter described: 40 miles per hour between the centerline of Armory Road and the centerline of Rimrock Road.

It is determined and declared that the prima facie speed limits as hereinafter set forth are found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic, are reasonable and safe on the sections of Outlet Center Drive hereinafter described: 65 miles per hour between 0.2 miles south of Mercantile Way to 2.2 miles south of Mercantile Way.
