Anderson Municipal Code Ch. 5.40 Licensing Fees—wholesale and Retail Delivery

Every person not having a fixed place of business within the city making retail deliveries from house to house over regular routes to regular customers shall pay an annual license tax as follows:

Bread deliveries .....$55.00

Bulk gasoline or propane .....55.00

Milk and milk products .....55.00

All other retail deliveries .....55.00

Every person not having a fixed place of business within the city who delivers by vehicle, motor-driven or otherwise, to business establishments within the city, shall pay an annual license tax as follows:

Bread .....$50.00

Bulk gasoline or propane .....50.00

Auto parts .....50.00

Rock, cement, sand or gravel .....50.00

Whenever any person delivers various commodities and uses a different vehicle for each type commodity, then such person shall pay thirty dollars per year for each type of delivery made; provided, further, however, that if delivery is made of any commodity specifically mentioned hereinabove, then such person shall pay for the delivery of each specifically mentioned commodity the tax set forth above for delivery of each such commodity, plus thirty dollars per year for deliveries of each other type of commodity when such deliveries are made from different trucks.
