5.16.010 - Designated.

Every person having a fixed place of business within the city who engages in or carries on a place of business the principal function of which is the processing of farm products, poultry or livestock, or the manufacturing, making or developing of any machines, device, article, thing, commodity, goods, wares, merchandise, product, equipment, material or substance for sale or distribution shall pay an annual license tax based on the average number of employees employed in such business as defined and set forth in Chapters 5.04, et al, according to the following rate schedule:

A business having one or two employees shall pay .....$55.00

A business having three to seven employees shall pay .....70.00

A business having eight to fifteen employees shall pay .....95.00

A business having sixteen to twenty-five employees shall pay .....190.00

A business having twenty-six or more employees shall pay .....360.00
