5.74.010 - Grant of franchise.¶
Under the authority set forth in the California Franchise Act of 1937 (Public Utilities Code Sections 6200 et seq.) a franchise to operate a sewer collection and disposal service and to operate a service providing water to persons within the city is granted to the city of Anderson Sewer and Water Enterprises.

5.74.020 - Term.¶
The franchise granted shall be effective on July 1, 1992 and is established for an indeterminate length of time continuing indefinitely.

5.74.030 - Franchise fee.¶
The franchise shall pay to the city's general fund during the life of the franchise a sum equal to two percent of the gross annual receipts arising from the use, operation or possession of the franchise.
