4-62.1 - Interference with Officers.

It shall be unlawful for any person to obstruct or interfere with the performance of the duty of any officer or employee of the City, or to impersonate any such officer or employee.

4-62.2 - Protection of Police Dogs.

a. Interference with or Mistreatment Prohibited. No person shall willfully or maliciously torture, torment, beat, kick, strike, mutilate, injure, disable or kill any dog used by the County Sheriff or Police Department in the performance of the functions or duties of such Department, or interfere with or meddle with any such dog while being used by the Department or any member thereof in the performance of any of the functions or duties of the Department or of such officer or member.

4-62.3 - False Calls for Police Protection.

It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly to report or cause to be reported to the Police Department any false or fictitious request for protection or assistance, or any false or fictitious information indicating that a crime has been or is about to be committed, or to knowingly cause the Police Department to respond to any such false or fictitious report, or to request any assistance or investigation in connection with or as a result of any such false or fictitious report or false or fictitious information.

4-62.4 - Dispersal of Crowds.

Whenever the free passage of a public street or sidewalk of the City, or of any part of such streets or sidewalks shall be obstructed by a crowd of people, the persons composing such crowd shall disperse or move on when directed so to do by the Chief of Police or any police officer of the City.

4-62.5 - Improper Use of Police Whistles.

It shall be unlawful for any person, in the City, not a Police Officer, or not needing police assistance, to blow any policeman's whistle.
