4-57 - REFUSAL TO PAY TAXI FARE.

It shall be unlawful for any person to hire any taxicab or automobile for hire, or to enter and obtain a ride in the same, and to thereafter depart from such taxicab or automobile for hire without paying to the driver the legal fare, which fare, however, shall be in accordance with the schedule of rates filed with the City Clerk and posted per subsection 10-5.8 of the Alameda Municipal Code.
