Case Inventory Reports

Internal Revenue Manual Part 8. Appeals · 2026-10-03 edition · updated 2026-10-04 · United States

The APS Area Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining adequate control and to ensure the timely assessment of tax on cases under consideration by the office. ACDS summary reports have been designed to assist in these tasks.

ACDS generates a number of pre-defined summary reports and follow-up reports that are run at periodic intervals to assist APS in tracking and controlling cases and monitoring statute expiration dates.

The summary reports are required or optional, as stated in this manual. Optional reports may be required as determined locally.

From the Main Reports Menu, select "Case Inventory Reports (uniSTAR)" to select a summary report.
