Yucca Valley Municipal Code Ch. 2.55 Town Holidays

Excluding those offices which must remain open for the continuation of essential public services such as police and fire protection, the public offices of the Town shall be closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and on those holidays set forth by resolution of the Town Council. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this Section, the Town Manager shall be authorized, by administrative regulation or otherwise, to direct that all or a portion of the public offices of the Town shall remain open for business, on a full or reduced staff basis, on any of the days or holidays prescribed by the Town Council, when the Town Manager determines it to be necessary in the public interest to do so.
