2.54.040. - Delegation.¶
The County Treasurer is hereby delegated the authority to invest or reinvest the funds of the County and the funds of other deposits in the County treasury, pursuant to Government Code Title 5, Div. 2, Pt. 1, Ch. 4, Art. 1 (Government Code § 53600 et seq.). The County Treasurer shall thereafter assume full responsibility for those transactions until the Board of Supervisors by ordinance, revokes this delegation of authority. (Government Code § 27000.0) All future delegations of investment authority by the Yuba County Board of Supervisors to the Yuba County Treasurer shall be achieved by passage of an appropriate resolution of the Yuba County Board of Supervisors.
