2.135.010. - Elementary school established.¶
An elementary public school is hereby established in connection with the Juvenile Hall of the County for the education of the children in the Juvenile Hall. The school shall be maintained by the County Superintendent of Schools in the manner provided by Welfare and Institutions Code Div. 2, Pt. 1, Ch. 2, Art. 23 (Welfare and Institutions Code § 850 et seq.).

2.135.020. - Secondary school established.¶
A secondary public school is hereby established in connection with the Juvenile Hall of the County for the education of the children of such Juvenile Hall. The school shall be maintained by the County Superintendent of Schools in the manner provided Welfare and Institutions Code Div. 2, Pt. 1, Ch. 2, Art. 23 (Welfare and Institutions Code § 850 et seq.).

2.135.030. - Work classes to be held.¶
The schools established herein shall be established and maintained and the classes thereof held in the Juvenile Hall of the County in such portions of the Juvenile Hall as are designated for that purpose by the authority in charge of the Juvenile Hall.

2.135.040. - Authority of County Superintendent of Schools and Board of Education.¶
The County Superintendent of Schools and the County Board of Education shall have the powers and duties with respect to the schools established herein as is provided by Education Code Title 2, Div. 4, Pt. 27, Ch. 4, Art. 2.5 (Education Code § 48645 et seq.).

2.135.050. - Budget.¶
The budget for the schools established herein shall be prepared, submitted and adopted pursuant to the procedures established by Resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Yuba on June 30, 1966, or as thereafter provided by resolution.

2.135.060. - Financing.¶
The method and procedures of financing the schools established herein shall conform to Education Code Title 2, Div. 4, Pt. 27, Ch. 4, Art. 2.5 (Education Code § 48645 et seq.) and other applicable law.

2.135.070. - Severability.¶
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, provision or portion of this Chapter, or the application thereof to any person or circumstances, is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or provisions of this Chapter or their applicability to distinguishable situations or circumstances. In enacting this Chapter, it is the desire of the Board of Supervisors to validly regulate to the full measure of its legal authority in the public interest, and to that end, the Board of Supervisors declares that it would have adopted this Chapter and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, provision, or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases or portions thereof might be declared invalid or unconstitutional in whole or in part, as applied to any particular situation or circumstances, and to this end the provisions of this Chapter are intended to be severable.
