13.64.010 - Permitting.

Permits for street clocks shall be considered as part of the use permit process defined in Section 13.08.050.

13.64.020 - Design and construction.

All street clocks, as herein defined, shall be constructed of incombustible material, including the frames, braces and supports thereof. Dials and crystals may be of glass or plastic.

13.64.030 - Limitation on permits.

Clocks shall not be permitted to be erected on poles placed in the public sidewalk unless an encroachment permit is obtained in addition to the use permit. No person shall be permitted to erect more than one street clock as herein defined for any one place of business.

13.64.040 - Permitted advertising.

Only the business name shall be permitted as advertising matter thereon. Any such business identification shall not exceed ten (10) square feet per side or twenty (20) percent of the clock face(s), whichever is less.
