§ 10.64.010. Definitions.¶
For the purpose of this chapter:
"Skateboard"
means and includes all wheeled objects, coaster, scooters, toys, conveyances, or similar devices used for transportation or sport which are propelled by human power and which are not classified as bicycles in this Code.
"Rollerskate"
means and includes any form of device worn on the feet with four wheels or rollers, for use on a sidewalk or other surface offering traction.

§ 10.64.020. Unlawful to go upon roadway.¶
It is unlawful for any person upon rollerskates or riding in or by means of any skateboard to go upon any roadway other than in pedestrian crosswalks in accordance with any and all other provisions of the law.

§ 10.64.030. Unlawful to go upon private property in commercial zones.¶
It is unlawful for any person to ride a skateboard or rollerskates upon private property located in any commercially zoned area in the City of Yorba Linda so long as such property is posted so as to give reasonable notice of such prohibition.

§ 10.64.040. Yielding right-of-way.¶
A. The driver of a motor vehicle, prior to driving over and upon any sidewalk or public crosswalk, shall yield the right-of-way to any person riding in, on or by means of any skateboard or rollerskates.
B. Whenever any person is riding in, on or by means of a skateboard or rollerskates on a public sidewalk or public crosswalk, such person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian.

§ 10.64.050. Unlawful to go upon private property in public/semi-public zones.¶
It is unlawful for any person to ride a skateboard, bicycle or similar coaster device upon private property in any public/semi-publicly zoned property in the City so long as such property is posted so as to give reasonable notice of such prohibition.

§ 10.64.060. Unlawful to go upon public property where area is posted.¶
It is unlawful for any person to ride a skateboard, bicycle or similar coaster device upon the Veterans Memorial located at Veterans Park, including, but not limited to, any improvements or structures associated with such Memorial and the sidewalks immediately adjacent to the Memorial so long as such property is posted so as to give reasonable notice of such prohibition.

§ 10.64.070. Unlawful to go upon Yorba Linda Town Center parking structure or other…¶
It is unlawful for any person to ride a skateboard, bicycle, or similar coaster device upon the Yorba Linda Town Center parking structure or any other City owned facility or parking lot, and the sidewalks immediately adjacent to the parking structure or City owned facility, so long as such property is posted so as to give reasonable notice of such prohibition.
