§ 17.125.010. Purpose and intent.

It is the purpose and intent of this chapter to regulate the development and operation of transitional housing land uses.

§ 17.125.020. Definitions.

"Transitional housing"

shall mean buildings configured as rental housing developments, but operated under program requirements that call for the termination of assistance and recirculation of the assisted unit to another eligible program recipient at some predetermined future point in time, which shall be no less than six months (Health and Safety Code Section 50675.2(h) ).

§ 17.125.030. Standards.

Transitional housing units are residential uses subject only to those requirements and restrictions that apply to other residential uses of the same type in the same zone. To encourage and facilitate the development of transitional housing, the city may allow flexible application of development standards.
