12-2-100 - Preparation of Ordinances.

All ordinances shall be prepared or reviewed by the District Counsel. No ordinance shall be prepared for presentation to the Board of Directors unless ordered by direction of the Board or requested in writing by any member Board, the Presiding Officer, the Secretary or the District Counsel.

12-2-105 - Approval of Ordinances, etc., as to Form, Legality and Administration.

All ordinances, resolutions and contract documents shall, before approval by the Board of Directors, have been approved as to form and legality by the District Counsel or his authorized representative, and shall have been examined and approved for administration by the General Manager or other administrative officer.

12-2-110 - Introduction and Sponsorship of Ordinances, etc.

Ordinances, resolutions and other matters or subjects requiring action by the Board shall be introduced and sponsored by a member of the Board, except that the General Manager, or the District Counsel may present proposed ordinances and other matters or subjects to the Board, and any board member may assume sponsorship thereof by moving that such ordinances, resolutions, matters or subjects be adopted; otherwise, they shall not be considered.

12-2-115 - Appointment of Special Committees.

All special committees shall be appointed by the President, subject to confirmation by a majority vote of the Board members present at the meeting where the appointment is made.

12-2-120 - Creation, Administration and Procurement of "Park Fund."

A Park Fund is hereby established to be funded by unsecured interest, donations, user fees, grants and/or development fees and subdivision charges. Such fund is to be used to establish and maintain park and recreation programs on district property.

12-2-125 - Procedure for Presentation of Claims.

All claims against the district, except such as arise upon a contract previously entered into by the claimant and the Board, shall be filed with the General Manager before action is taken thereon by the Board.

12-2-130 - Official Bonds—General Manager.

The official bond of the General Manager as required by law is hereby fixed at one hundred thousand ($100,000.00) dollars.

12-2-135 - Official Bonds—Treasurer.

The official bond of the District Treasurer as required by law is hereby fixed at one hundred thousand ($100,000.00) dollars.
