9.04.010 Discharge--Prohibited.¶
It is unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any gun, pistol, airgun, spring gun, slingshot or instrument, or other thing commonly used or which may be used for propelling or throwing any shot, bullet, rock, stone, pebble or other missile within the city. (Ord. 42 §1, 1949).
9.04.020 Discharge--In protection of property--Permitted when.¶
Nothing in this chapter shall apply to or be construed to prohibit the use of any of the instruments or things described in Section 9.04.010; by any adult person, when using any of the said instruments or things upon premises owned or occupied by said adult person in the protection of his property; but such use must at all times be with due regard to the safety of others. (Ord. 42 §2, 1949).
9.04.030 Violation--Penalty.¶
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding fifty dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding sixty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 42 §3, 1949).
