7.101.010 - Skateboard park rules.

  1. Skateboarding is not permitted on any public or recreational facility owned or operated by the city of Vallejo or by the Greater Vallejo Recreation District except that skateboarding in accordance with this chapter is permitted in areas specifically designated for such purpose either by ordinance or by a regulation of the Greater Vallejo Recreation District. The skateboarding area located at Wardlaw Park is such a designated area.

  2. No wheeled motorized vehicles of any kind are permitted within designated skateboarding areas.

  3. Any person riding a skateboard or other wheeled recreational device inside the designated skating area must wear a fastened helmet, elbow pads and knee pads.

  4. Any person who fails to adhere to the provisions of this Section 7.101.010 shall be cited and prosecuted, and upon conviction, pay a fine in accordance with Vallejo Municipal Code Section 1.12.010.

7.101.020 - Notices.

The city shall cause one or more signs to be posted at all skateboard parks or facilities where skateboarding is permitted in designated areas providing reasonable notice of the rules as set forth in Section 7.101.010.

7.101.030 - Violations.

Any willful violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as provided in Section 1.12.010 of this Code.
