Chapter 2.64 — INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

§ 2.64.010. Declaration of need for authority.¶
The city council finds and declares, within the meaning of Section 91520 of the California Industrial Development Financing Act, that there is within the city a need for an industrial development authority.

§ 2.64.020. Authority to function within city.¶
The city council further finds and declares that the authority shall function within the city. (Ord. 94-09 § 2.2)
§ 2.64.030. Authority's powers.¶
The authority is empowered to transact business and to exercise all powers as permitted by law. (Ord. 94-09 § 2.3)
§ 2.64.040. Referendum.¶
Pursuant to subdivision (b) of Section 91520 of the California Industrial Development Financing Act, this chapter is subject to the provisions for referendum set forth in Article 2, commencing with Section 4050, of Chapter 3 of Division 5 of the California Election Code. (Ord. 94-09 § 3.1)
