11.22.010 - Winter road closures.

Pursuant to the authority contained in Section 942.5 of the California Streets and Highways Code, the Tehama County board of supervisors find, per subsection (b) of Section 942.5 of the California Streets and Highways Code, that the following roads sustain damage by traffic during inclement weather conditions and per subsection (b), to protect the roads, provide that these roads shall be closed from December 1, through May 1 of each year, and the director of public works is authorized to place and remove such barricades, signs or other warning devices as necessary to effect such closures and reopenings:

  1. The west 3.5 miles of Colyer Springs Road (County Road No. 356);

  2. The west 5.2 miles of Raglin Ridge Road (County Road No. 693).
