9.04.190 - Imposed.¶
Charges in accordance with this article shall be made for the disposal of refuse at county disposal sites.

9.04.200 - Option and rates.¶
The county retains the option in all cases to charge a user fee on either a yardage or tonnage basis, or both, as shall be prescribed from time to time in writing by the board of supervisors.

9.04.210 - Yardage and tonnage fees.¶
Car bodies, stumps, large trees, lumber, concrete, tires and other similar types of material which by their inherent nature create disposal problems shall be charged rates as designated by the board of supervisors.

9.04.220 - Board to adjust fees.¶
The board of supervisors may by resolution change, adjust or otherwise alter the prices and regulations listed in this article as the board may deem necessary.

9.04.230 - Receipt given—Fee schedule posting.¶
All persons when using the facilities at any county disposal site requiring user fees shall pay the fee as established in this article and shall be furnished a receipt therefor. Fee rates shall be conspicuously posted at all disposal sites requiring user fees.

9.04.240 - Protest of fee and appeal.¶
A. Should a person be dissatisfied with the fee charged him as not being fair and equitable as compared to the posted prices, he may pay the fee under protest and the checker collector forthwith will designate the spot and direct the customer to dump his load and then call the refuse disposal director who shall appraise the load and fee charged and his decision on the fee shall be final except by appeal.
B. Any person who is dissatisfied with any decision or ruling of refuse disposal director under this section may appeal in writing to the board of supervisors within ten days of rendering of decision or ruling. The board of supervisors shall set the appeal for hearing and give the appellant and refuse disposal director five days notice of the hearing. After the hearing the board may affirm, amend or overrule the decision of the refuse disposal director.

9.04.250 - Rules and regulations.¶
The refuse disposal director is hereby authorized to make all necessary and reasonable rules and regulations of the disposal sites and for the effective and reasonable administration of this article.
