2.48.010 - Conjunction with state election.¶

The city council, pursuant to Government Code Section 36501 et seq., and Elections Code Section 23301.5 et seq., establishes the date for holding its general municipal election as the same date as the California statewide general election, and the general municipal election shall be consolidated with, and held in conjunction with, the statewide general election.

The city council vacates the second Tuesday in April in each even-numbered year as the date for its general municipal election.
