2.12.010 - Salary of clerk and treasurer.

The salary of the city clerk and the city treasurer is fixed at the sum of one hundred dollars per month effective February 1, 1986. The city clerk shall receive a general expense allowance to cover necessary expenses incurred as a result of his or her duties in the amount of fifty dollars per month effective February 1, 1986, and in the future, salary and expense allowance shall be set by resolution.

2.12.020 - Salary of councilmembers.

A. The city council finds that this city has a population less than thirty-five thousand people.

B. Pursuant to Government Code Section 36516, the city council salary is currently three hundred dollars per month for each member of the city council. That amount shall be increased to six hundred fifty four dollars and eighty-six cents ($654.86) per month for all members of the city council at such time as one or more members become eligible for a salary increase by virtue of beginning a new term of office after the November 2008 general election, pursuant to Government Code Section 36516.5.
