Suisun City Municipal Code Ch. 10.12 Turns

The city council may by ordinance prohibit the making of any turning movement by any vehicle at any intersection or between any designated intersections located within the city so long as the same is not in conflict with the Vehicle Code of the state.

Vehicles are prohibited from the making of U-turns at the following intersections or between designated intersections except as otherwise provided by the Vehicle Code: Main Street at:

A. Florida Street;

B. Spring Street;

C. Louisiana Street;

D. Solano Street;

E. Sacramento Street;

F. California Street;

G. Common Street.

The city council may, from time to time, by resolution, prohibit the making of any turning movement by any vehicle at any intersection or between any designated intersections located within the city so long as the same is not in conflict with the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the state.

Any such resolution, as provided for in Section 10.12.030, shall be based upon the recommendation of the chief of police or his designated representative and it shall state the intersections in question or the area between intersections in question and it shall state the specific turning movement prohibited.

The public works director or his designated representative shall cause official traffic-control devices to be placed or erected within or adjacent to intersections to regulate or prohibit turning movements at such intersections.
