§ 3.44.010. Definition and use.

A. A leave of absence is defined as an authorized period of time away from work by an employee eligible for leave.

B. All provisions, policies, rules, regulations, and procedures regarding leaves of absence shall be approved by the board and set forth in the personnel manual or as agreed in an applicable MOU.
