§ 22.02.010. Definitions.

The following terms when used in this title shall have the following respective meanings:

  • A. "County" means the county of Stanislaus, a general law county organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the state of California.

  • B. "Board of Supervisors" means the board of supervisors of the county.

  • C. "Developer" means a qualified applicant who has entered into a development agreement pursuant to the procedures specified in this Title.

  • D. "Development agreement" means a development agreement enacted by legislation between the county and a qualified applicant pursuant to Government Code Sections 65864 and 65869.5 .

  • E. "Person" means an individual, group, partnership, firm, association, corporation, trust, governmental agency, governmental official, administrative body or tribunal or any other form of business or legal entity.

  • F. "Planning commission" means the planning commission of the county established pursuant to Chapter 2.44 of this code.

  • G. "Planning director" means the director of planning and community development of the county duly appointed pursuant to the county's ordinances.

  • H. "Qualified applicant" is a person who has legal or equitable interest in the real property which is the subject of the development agreement
