Sec. 5-12.301. - Cost of operations.

The fees shall be used to cover the cost of operation and maintenance of the septage receiving facilities including cost of improvements and to meet State regulations regarding septage disposal facilities.

An amount not to exceed Five Thousand and no/100ths ($5,000.00) Dollars per year shall be allocated to the Siskiyou County Public Works Department for expenses incurred in monitoring and maintaining the septage receiving facilities.

An amount not to exceed Seven Thousand and no/100ths ($7,000.00) Dollars per year shall be allocated to the Siskiyou County Public Health Department for expenses incurred in permitting and inspection of the septage receiving facilities and in administering the fee assessment process.

In the event there are not sufficient funds for both departments to receive the maximum amount hereunder, the departments shall share the amount available on a pro rata basis.
