Sec. 3-4.301. - Snow removal: Hindering.¶
It shall be unlawful and it shall be an infraction for any person to park or leave unattended any vehicle as defined in Section 31 of the Vehicle Code of the State upon the right-of-way of any County road outside any incorporated city in the County at any time or in any manner which will obstruct, hinder, delay, or otherwise inconvenience the County and its officers and employees in any snow removal operation by any of the County officers or employees.
It shall be the right and duty of the officers and employees, or any of them, during snow removal operations, or in preparing for snow removal, to remove, or cause to be removed, any vehicle so parked or left unattended on any County road outside any incorporated city and to store the same, or cause the same to be stored, at the expense of the owner or person in charge thereof.

Sec. 3-4.302. - Signs.¶
The provisions of the following sections of this Article shall be effective only upon the erection upon those portions of the streets and highways designated of appropriate signs and markings in accordance with the provisions and requirements of the Vehicle Code of the State.

Sec 3-4.303. - Parking in certain County-owned parking lots in the City of Yreka.¶

(a) Parking within any County-owned parking lot may be reserved for County departmental use only. Whenever an area is to be so reserved, the name of the department in which the space is reserved shall be clearly marked on each space. Any unauthorized vehicle parked in such area shall be towed away and stored at a local service storage area at the owner's expense.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave a motor vehicle unattended in any County-owned parking lot within the City of Yreka, except as set forth in this section.
(1) All salaried employees may obtain permits for parking in such lots by applying to the County Administrator, and such employees shall display their permits in the lower right-hand corner of the windshield.
(2) If any cars are parked in any of such lots without displaying a permit, the cars shall be towed away at the owner's expense and stored at a local service storage facility.
(c) The County shall place signs on such lots, at places determined suitable by the County, giving notice that parking shall be by permit only, that unauthorized parking in spaces marked for departmental use is prohibited, and that a person violating the provisions of this section shall have his car towed away at his expense and stored at a local towing service storage area at the owner's expense.
(d) The Sheriff-Coroner is hereby authorized and directed to enforce the provisions of this section.

Sec. 3-4.304. - Unincorporated areas.¶

It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave any motor vehicle unattended in the following designated areas of the unincorporated area of the County at any time or during such times as may be designated:
(a) On that portion of South first Street (Road No. 1M049) from a point 150 feet south of Mican Street to a point 150 feet north of Mican Street on the west side of South First Street, Road 1M049;
(b) On the south side of Second Avenue, County Road 7C012, from a point 150 feet west of Indian Creek to a point 250 feet west of Indian Creek, located in front of the Happy Camp Elementary School, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.;
(c) On the east side of Indian Creek Road, County Road 7C010, at the Happy Camp High School;
(d) On Railroad Park Road 1M063 from its intersection with non-County road No. N1MO1 to a point 0.65 miles easterly;
(e) On the north side of Colombero Drive (County Road 1N02) from the intersection of Shasta Avenue (County Road 1P002) to 300 feet west;
(f) Trucks will not be parked on the north side of Lassen Lane, County Road 2M08, seventy-five (75′) feet on either side of the center line of Pine Grove Drive, County Road 2M006;
(g) On either side of Big Spring Road, County Road 4M01, 300 feet either side of the center line of the main entrance road to Lake Shastina;
(h) On either side of Ski Village Drive (County Road 2M009) west of Wertz Road (County Road 2M052);
(i) On the west side of fourth Avenue (County Road 6K015) twenty-five (25′) feet either side of the center line of the driveway of the fire hall in Grenada;
(j) On either side of Castle Lake Road, 2M020, from the intersection with W.A. Barr Road 2M022, to 2,000 feet southerly and on either side of Ney Springs Road, 2M047, from the intersection with Castle Lake Road 750 feet easterly;
(k) On both sides of Broadway (County Road 1N05) between Minnesota Avenue (County Road 1N07) and State Highway 89;
(l) On both sides of Truck Village Drive (3L006) from Interstate 5,500 feet easterly; and
(m) On the west side of Edgewood Road, County Road 4L04, starting from a point 140 feet south of the railroad tracks southerly 270 feet.

Sec. 3-4.305. - Box Canyon Project area.¶

It shall be unlawful and shall be an infraction for any person to park any vehicle on any County road right-of-way within the Box Canyon Project area, except at areas designated for parking by the Siskiyou County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.

Sec. 3-4.306. - Fishing from bridges.¶

It shall be unlawful for any person to fish from any bridge in the unincorporated area of the County when appropriate signs giving notice thereof have been erected.

Sec. 3-4.307. - Parking in the Town of Grenada.¶
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave any motor vehicle unattended on that portion of the west side of Siskiyou Boulevard commencing at the northwest corner of the intersection of Shasta Boulevard and extending eight (8') feet in a northerly direction and commencing ninety (90') feet northerly of said intersection and extending forty (40') feet in a northerly direction.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave any motor vehicle unattended on that portion of Shasta Boulevard commencing at the westerly corners of the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and extending twenty (20') feet in a westerly direction.
(c) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave any motor vehicle unattended in a position parallel to the existing traveled way, but angle or diagonal parking shall be permitted on that portion of Siskiyou Boulevard described as commencing at a point eight (8') feet northerly from the northwest corner of Siskiyou Boulevard and Shasta Boulevard and extending eighty (80') feet northerly and commencing at a point 130 feet northerly from said corner and extending eighty (80') feet northerly toward Second Street.
(d) Parallel parking shall be permitted in designated spaces along the center line of Shasta Boulevard commencing at a point twenty (20') feet westerly of the intersection of Shasta Boulevard and Siskiyou Boulevard and extending approximately 200 feet westerly.
(e) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave any motor vehicle unattended on the easterly side of Siskiyou Boulevard, County Road No. 6K02, from a point 250 feet southerly of County Route A-12 to a point 300 feet southerly of County Route A-12.

Sec. 3-4.308. - Angle parking in the Town of McCloud.¶
Angle parking shall be permitted in designated spaces along the east line of Main Street from Pine Street to Division Street in the Town of McCloud.

Sec. 3-4.309. - School bus parking at Happy Camp High School.¶
From 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., only school bus parking shall be permitted on the side of Indian Creek Road (County Road No. 7C010) where appropriately signed at the Happy Camp High School.

Sec. 3-4.310. - Violations: Penalties.¶
Every person convicted of a violation of Sections 3-4.301, 3-4.303, 3-4.304, 3-4.305, 3-4.307, 3-4.308 and 3-4.309 shall be assessed a fine of Twenty-Five and no/100ths ($25.00) Dollars. Violations will be adjudicated pursuant to the procedure set forth in Section 3-4.1302. Fines shall be payable at the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Department.
