Siskiyou County Municipal Code Ch. 14 Juvenile Hall Schools

There is hereby established and maintained an elementary public school and a secondary public school in connection with the Siskiyou County Juvenile Hall for the education of children in the juvenile hall. Such schools, established and maintained pursuant to the provisions of Section 856 of the Welfare and Institutions Code of the State, shall be maintained by the County Superintendent of Schools, with the County Board of Education having the same powers and duties with respect to such schools as the governing board of a school district would have were said schools maintained by the school district, as indicated in Section 857 of the Welfare and Institutions Code of the State.
