Sec. 2-10.01. - Office to be appointive.¶
The office of County Surveyor, under the authority of the provisions of Section 27550 of the Government Code of the State, shall be appointive.

Sec. 2-10.02. - Appointment: Term.¶
The Board shall appoint a licensed land surveyor to hold the office of County Surveyor. Such appointment shall be for a term of four (4) years and shall coincide with and take effect at the same time and for the same term as elective County officers.
