10.22.010 - Use of roller skates, skateboards, coasters, and similar devices restricted.¶
A. No person riding in or on or by means of roller skates or any skateboard, coaster, toy vehicle, or similar device, excluding bicycles, shall go upon any private roadway or parking area, or upon any sidewalk located in any areas zoned C-S commercial service (Chapter 17.20 of this code); C-CS commercial shopping center (Chapter 17.22); C-P commercial professional (Chapter 17.24); and P public/quasi-public (Chapter 17.30), provided appropriate signs are posted at all entrances to said areas and along the sidewalks thereof at intervals of not more than three hundred feet, giving notice that such activity is prohibited.
B. No person riding in or on or by means of roller skates or any skateboard, coaster, toy vehicle, bicycle or similar device, shall go upon any roadway or sidewalk located in any city park, unless the area is specifically designated for said devices and appropriately posted for the use.
C. A violation of this section shall be treated as an infraction, punishable as provided in Subsections C and D of Section 1.08.010 of this code.

10.22.020 - Chief of police to approve signs.¶
All signs referenced in Section 10.22.010 shall be installed and maintained at the expense of the owner of the shopping center. No signs shall be erected for purposes of this chapter without the prior approval of the chief of police as to size, content and lettering.
