9.16.010 GAMING CURFEW.

No person shall play in any public place in the city, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. of any day, any game played with cards, dice, or any device, when money or other valuable thing is staked or hazarded on the outcome of the game, except as provided in Section 5.48.010 of the Santa Cruz Municipal Code. This section shall not be deemed to authorize the playing of any game during the remaining hours of the day if such game is otherwise prohibited by law.

9.16.060 VISITING.

No person shall be a visitor, spectator or onlooker at any of the games defined in this chapter or any other gambling game or at any room, house, or place where gambling is played, practiced, held, or conducted.
