Sec. A21-14. - Conveyance of certain county property interests to public agencies and…

(a) Upon finding that a conveyance of an interest in the County's real property would be in the public interest and would not substantially conflict or interfere with the County's use, the County Executive or designee may execute license agreements and permits-to-enter in favor of the State, or to any county, city, district, or public agency or corporation, or to any public utility corporation. Such agreements and permits shall have a maximum duration of five years, shall not be renewable, and shall be subject to termination by the respective County official on written notice to the licensee.

(b) Upon finding that a conveyance of an interest in real property owned by the County would be in the public interest and would not substantially conflict or interfere with the County's use, the County Executive or designee may grant an easement for use to the State, or to any city, district, public agency, public corporation, or public utility corporation, so long as such easement is related to the development or maintenance of affordable housing.

(c) This section is enacted pursuant to Government Code section 25526.6.
